Sara Pena MD, MPH

Sara Peña, MD, MPH, is a family medicine physician and newest addition to our care team here at Sobel Family Medicine.

Dr. Peña received a Master’s in Public Health and her Medical Degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. She comes to us with 23 years of experience in primary care, and has been named one of Phoenix Magazine’s Top Docs six times over that span.

She is also an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and continues to enjoy teaching medical students about family medicine. Dr. Peña’s special areas of interest are obesity, diabetes preventative health, and functional aging. Dr. Pena is fluent in English and Spanish.
